It is located just north of Siori Saighnean.The city itself isn't very artful; permanent buildings, mostly of wood, are settled around a central fort (Fort Vrenda.) Further out are more temporary looking buildings, like rickety shacks, and at the very edge, tents.The people are very diverse, just as on the rest of Akara. Near the outskirts you would be wise to guard your possessions well; thieves frequent the area. Near the city are tradehouses full of stationary and traveling merchants. It's easy to walk out of Vrend with a tidy profit, due to the amount of people. Some even make a profession out of it.The fort itself is merely a symbol; fashioned from wood, it houses a tiny legion of armed men who really don't care about the people, but rather how much their next pay check will be worth. Once or twice a month they may actually catch a thief, but its jail rooms are dust and unused. No one really pays attention to the fort anymore.
